KARYANASIONAL.COM, LAMPUNG TENGAH – Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Lampung Tengah (Lamteng) Hj. Ellya Lusiana Loekman, didampingi Dinas Sosial, BPBD, Camat Terbanggibesar dan Kepala Kampung Poncowati, Senin 14 Oktober, mengunjungi rumah Tarzan, korban kebakaran di Kampung Poncowati yang terjadi pada Minggu siang (13/10/2019).
Kunjungan ketua PKK Lamteng itu sekaligus pemberian bantuan sembako dan peralatan yang dibutuhkan sementara.
“Ini merupakan bentuk perhatian Pemerintah Kabupaten Lamteng terhadap warga yang tertimpa bencana. Walau nilainya tak sebanding, saya berharap dengan kunjungan ini bisa mengurangi beban keluarga pak Tarzan. Pesan saya, tetap tabah dan semangat mudah-mudahan semua cobaan ini bisa terlewati dan menjadikan kita lebih lagi dekat dengan sang pencipta,” ujar Ketua Hj. Ellya Lusiana Loekman.
Sebelumnya diketahui, rumah milik Tarzan (60) warga Dusun Baruno 1, RT 37, Kampung Poncowati, Kecamatan Terbanggibesar terbakar.
Kebakaran yang menghanguskan rumah Tarzan mantan pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) SMK N 1 Terbanggibesar, terjadi sekira pukul 10:00 WIB. saat itu, Tarzan dan cucunya sedang tidur diruang tengah.
Misnawati (55), sang istri yang berada diluar rumah melihat kepulan asap yang muncul dari atap rumah. Kemudian ia berlari kedalam rumah dan melihat api telah membesar di plafon ruang tengah tepat diatas Tarzan bersama cucunya tidur.
“Melihat kepulan asap kemudian saya berlari dan membangunkan suami beserta cucu. Api yang cepat membesar melahap atap rumah dan merambat keruangan lainnya,” ujar Misnawati.
Tak berapa lama, mobil pemadam kebakaran yang tiba, dibantu warga sekitar bersama-sama memadamkan api. Beruntung kejadian tersebut tidak memakan korban jiwa, meski menghanguskan seluruh isi rumah dengan kerugian yang ditafsir mencapai ratusan juta. (Rls/Dra)
