Adapun sasaran Operasi Cempaka Krakatau 2018, meliputi razia Senpi/sajam, Narkoba, Miras, Perjudian dan Pornografi, kegiatan langsung dibawah Koordinator Operasi Wakapolsek Way Bungur Ipda Ngatono bersama 9 orang Personil, 6 orang personel Polsek Way Bungur dan 3 orang personel Koramil 411-11/ Purbolinggo.
Tim Operasi Cempaka Krakatau 2018, menyisir para pedagang disetiap acara hiburan malam (hajatan warga) yang sering kali berakhir dengan kerusuhan, perkelahian antar penonton yang disebabkan oleh miras, ditambah menjelang pemilu dan Pilpres 2019 suhu politik semakin memanas.
Sementera Polres Lampung Timur bersama masyarakat telah mensepakati untuk hajatan warga (hiburan) diberikan ijin hinggga pukul 22.00 Wib, guna menghindari keributan dikeramaian diatas pukul tersebut, hasil operasi sementara ini Tim mengamankan sejumlah minuman keras yang kadar alkoholnya diatas 10 % seperti Vigour, Anggur Merah, Mansion dan Vodka, sementara para penjualnya (pedagang) hanya didata untuk pengambilan data selanjutnya.
Kegiatan Operasi Gabungan TNI – Polri ini akan terus dilaksanakan guna menciptakan keamanan dan ketertiban di masyarakat, dengan harapan kedepan masyarakat dalam melaksanakan dan menjalani aktipitas sehari harinya akan merasakakan nyaman dan keamanannya terjamin.
