Tantangan Pemuda dalam membangun kebhinekaan di era komunikasi digital yang saat ini berbentuk ancaman non militer antara lain :
1). Dimensi ideologi yang meliputi isu PKI ,paham anarkis, aliran sesat terorisme
2). Dimensi politik : unjuk rasa anarkis, tenaga kerja asing yang tidak memiliki administrasi lengkap
3). Dimensi ekonomi : pejabat negara dalam kasus korupsi, penambangan dan penebangan kayu ilegal serta kesenjangan ekonomi
