KARYANASIONAL.COM, Tanggamus_ Polres Tanggamus akan menggelar Operasi Patuh Krakatau 2019 secara serentak mulai Kamis (29/08/2019). Operasi Patuh sendiri dilaksanakan serentak di seluruh Indonesia. Hal itu diungkapkan Kasat Lantas Polres Tanggamus AKP Yuniarta, S.H, kepada karyanasional.com di ruang kerjanya, Rabu (28/08/2019).
”Operasi Patuh Krakatau 2019 akan digelar selama 14 hari, yaitu mulai 29 Agustus 2019, pukul 00.00 WIB, sampai dengan 11 September 2019 pukul 00.00 WIB,” ungkap AKP Yuniarta, mendampingi Plh Kapolres AKBP Joko Bintoro.
Dilanjutkan AKP Yuniarta, yang menjadi tujuan mendasar pada Operasi Patuh Krakatau 2019 ini adalah menciptakan keamanan, keselamatan, ketertiban, dan kelancaran berlalu lintas (Kamseltibcarlantas), dengan menekankan pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia, khususnya kesadaran dalam berkendara di jalan raya.
”Kepolisian juga akan melaksanakan kegiatan proaktif, dan pendekatan preventif dalam Operasi Patuh Krakatau tahun ini,” ungkapnya.
Sementara, imbuh perwira ini, sanksi ataupun penindakan pelanggaran lalulintas, akan diterapkan kepada pengemudi yang mabuk, melawan arus, masih di bawah umur, menggunakan telpon seluler saat mengemudi, serta pengendara yang tidak mampu menunjukkan dokumen sah kendaraan.
Selanjutnya, kata AKP Yuniarta, sanksi tegas juga diberikan kepada pengendara motor yang tidak menggunakan helm standar, pengemudi mobil yang tidak memakai sabuk pengaman (safety belt), pengendara yang melawan arus lalulintas, memakai lampu strobo, rotator, dan sirine yang peruntukkannya tidak sesuai aturan.
”Melalui Operasi Patuh Krakatau 2019 ini, diharapkan mampu menekan angka pelanggaran serta kecelakaan lalulintas akibat kelalaian saat berkendara, khususnya di wilayah hukum Polres Tanggamus,” harapnya.
Kasat Lantas Polres Tanggamus ini mengimbau kepada masyarakat di wilayah hukum polres setempat, untuk dapat mematuhi peraturan lalulintas, serta melengkapi surat-surat kendaraan.
”Masyarakat wajib memahami dan mematuhi peraturan berlalu lintas, baik itu rambu, marka jalan, penggunaan atribut berkendara yang sesuai standar, serta melengkapi surat-surat kendaraannya,” tandasnya. (Sis/Dodi)
