KARYANASIONAL.COM, TULANG BAWANG – Hujan deras membasahi dan mengguyur seluruh jamaah pada melaksanakan sholat istisqo, hari Selasa (24/09/2019), sekira pukul 09.00 WIB, bertempat di lapangan Mapolres Tulang Bawang.
Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh Kapolres Tulang Bawang AKBP Syaiful Wahyudi, SIK, MH, Wakapolres Kompol Eko Nugroho, SIK, Pejabat Utama Polres dan personel Polres sebanyak 150 orang.
Kapolres mengatakan, saat dimulainya rangkaian sholat istisqo cuaca masih terlihat cerah dan panas. Ketika khotib H. Basori menyampaikan khotbahnya, cuaca seketika berubah menjadi hujan deras dan hujan tersebut berlangsung selama 30 menit sampai semua rangkaian kegiatan sholat istisqo selesai dilaksanakan.
“Alhamdulillah, saat kami melaksanakan sholat istisqoh hujan deras mengguyur membasahi semua jamaah yang sedang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Mudah-mudahan hujan ini sebagai awal mula pertanda baik akan berakhirnya cuaca kemarau,” ujar AKBP Syaiful.
Sholat ini kami lakukan selain untuk meningkatkan keiman dan ketaqwa personel Polres, juga sebagai bentuk permohonan kepada allah SWT untuk diturunkannya hujan. Dengan harapan cuaca panas yang menyebabkan kekeringan dan berdampak terjadinya karhutla (kebakaran hutan dan lahan) di wilayah hukum Polres Tulang Bawang dapat segera teratasi dan tidak terjadi lagi.
Sehingga para petani pada khususnya dan masyarakat Kabupaten Tulang Bawang dan Tulang Bawang Barat pada umumnya yang terdampak akibat kemarau panjang berharap dengan turunnya hujan ini sebagai awal mula pertanda baik untuk menyiapkan diri memasuki musim tanam. (Hartawan)
